2009 Hmong BC New Year Rescheduling in Process

admin — Sun, 04 Oct 2009 22:18:48 +0000

Hello everyone.

We are in the process of rescheduling our Hmong BC New Year Celebration to accommodate our local Hmong band, Sudden Rush. They will be performing in Sacramento on November 28th, which conflicts with our New Year date.

Sudden Rush are valuable members of our community, and they contribute much to our events. They are a hit across Canada and the USA and are a big attraction that many people look forward to, they always volunteer their services to setup the audio equipment and provide entertainment, and they support our community greatly.

Please visit Sudden Rush’s website to find out more about them by clicking here.

Also, click here to view a video of them practicing for one of their songs. Enjoy!

Hmong BC Hunting

admin — Sun, 04 Oct 2009 06:11:00 +0000

Hi everyone, click here to watch a video of hunting in BC by our community members. Many thanks to “Exidist” for taking the time to create and upload the video. BC has some of the best hunting Canada has to offer. Congratulations to the Hmong BC hunters!

The music in the video is performed by none other than our own Sudden Rush!!! Click here to visit their website and show your support for them, Hmong music, and Hmong culture. They really do deserve it, they’re fantastic!

WARNING: The video contains footage of the use of controlled firearms, mature subject matter, and involves wild animals. The UHCSABC does not take any responsibility for the film, or the material in the video. If you are an animal sympathizer, we do not recommend watching it. Viewer discretion is advised.
